How do I update my website?

I design a website last year! But now the website has too more things need to update! But I don't know how to uodate! anyone of you can give me some good ideas to help me update my website?? Help me please!!!

If you want to update your website, you can try to make changes in local copy of your workspace, replace the files at the hosted place with the new ones and restart the server. Try this method, maybe it can help you easily update your website!
