The Witcher 2 courtyard fight suggestions?

The courtyard fight in The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is so damn difficult!! Do you have the same feeling with me?? When i get to the Prologue, there has almost 8 guys waiting for me. They make me die in less than 2 minutes! How to win the courtyard fight in The Witcher 2?? Can you guys give me some suggestions?? Thx in advance!!

Here are some suggestions quoted from other sites:

Have a swallow potion active.

Brown Oil on your sword (you're likely to be getting in 1-hit and backing off, bleeding is good)

Yrden sign traps.

Axii possession of the big sword guys.

Kill the unarmored guys if they give you even a hint of a chance to whittle down numbers.

Quen sign makes it possible to take a hit or two before you back out.
