  I experienced battery issues as well, update itself did not fix it, but i found out that battery draining was caused by Ping service introduced recently in iOS. After disabling this service bettery lifetime improved significantly(with ping on battery lasted about 36hrs and with Ping turned off after 48hrs battery is at 80%). You can turn it off in Setting -> General -> Restrcitions -> Turn on restrictions and turn off Ping.
