Why update to IOS 4.3.3?

Does IOS 4.3.3 add anything,fix anything, change anything beyond the update? I have read a few threads about it but nothing about the purpose of the update. Grateful for your tips!!

Itunes deleting date when update ios 5? why?

When I upgraded my iPod touch from ios 4.3.5 to ios 5, the updating downloads fine. When I pause it, itunes erases all the data that has been downloaded. Why is this occurring? I have a slow internet connection so downloading things require quite sometime. Can you tell me the cause about itunes deleting downloaded date when update ios 5? Thanks in advance.
