How to capture dragon Souls into Soul Gem's in Skyrim?

Hi, i am wondering how to capture dragon Souls into Soul Gem's in Skyrim? I have got 5 Shout's that I discovered in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but I can't use them, it says I need a dragon soul, I have killed 4 dragons but it still won't let me unlock any of the shouts I have. Do I need to capture a dragon soul in a Soul Gem? if so, how can i capture dragon Souls into Soul Gem's in Skyrim? any tips? thanks!

Press R to unlock. xD couldn't find it myself. Number of dragon souls are displayed in bottom right.
