Hey! Do you have backup in Google account or SIM card? If you have you can recover lost contact from them. Same thing happened to me not long ago, I just can reocver some contacts from my Sim card, but I needed another. I heard that there are some android data recovery program which work on computer can recover contacts from Android phone, so I googled on the web. Oh, freind! I experienced this last week, I made my Samsung Galaxy S2 upgrade to Android 4.0, but I fogot backing up for my contacts and text messages, and there is no backup in Google account!
