Is there someone trying to hack my facebook 2011?

Today, the facebook asked me when I logged in to confirm my e-mail address even though I haven't changed my e-mail address in years. So I changed both my e-mail address password as well as my facebook password. But now when I logged into my facebook, it asked me for another e-mail address, just in case. Is there someone trying to hack my facebook 2011 or e-mail address?
